Instead of posting individual blog posts, I’ve decided to do something unique.
A blog is very much like a newspaper. Each day new content appears. But if the idea of a newspaper is to educate you about the world and how to see the world and how to understand the world so that you can use that information to do something useful. I think newspapers are deeply lacking.
Instead of having completely new information every day, a newspapers top most section should basically have a list of open items sorted by their importance. Just as you have a sort of to do list for your life a newspaper should be a to-do list for Society. No under the main to-do list, we could have a list of miscellaneous things, but without the above the fold being a to-do list, a newspaper really confuses people rather than help them.
For example, if one were to see a list of items at the top of a newspaper that said; (1) remove illegal immigrants from the country, (2) reduce the national debt, (3) create a love for the country by its citizens, (4) improve our medical industry to keep people healthy at a reasonable cost, (5) etc… and you saw those items every day. A person would start to understand his country and would be able to list to another person in the country the top five or 10 biggest items that need to be worked on for the country to improve.
This is the kind of thing I plan on creating on this portion of my website.
